Me Eeleanor & my two dogs "Mojjan" & "Ira".
My great interest in dogs has followed me through my hole life. Like most people I started off with a mixed breed (Raija, 1960-1964), but “discovered” the Belgian Shepherds in 1964 and fell in love! I bought myself a Groenendael named Femandos Gehör, (1964-1974). After he passed away I purchased another Groenendael, his name was NorwCh Lamaras Atlas, (1974-1984).
In 1976 the first Tervueren entered my life!
He was called NorwCh KORAD LP Zarito (1976-1986), and it was at that point I grew interested in breeding: Zarito sired eight litters in both Norway and Finland. His first grand-child was born in 1984;
IntCh SweCh NorwCh KORAD LPI Bellefax Kazamanataha (1984-1997) and she moved in with us. “Skatan” (as she was called on a daily basis), became the beginning of my kennel in 1988.
During all this time I’ve been very fascinated by the Laekenois. So, in 1985 a dog called Dingo Vom Floesserdorf came into my life. Two years later he was followed by a female called Oud-Sabbinge Holly Von Ezer (1987-1991).
Dingo and Holly were great and loveable dogs, and in 1989 they had a litter of seven pups.
At the moment there’s no Laekenois with me, but one never knows what the future will bring...
I haven’t had many litters since I aim to produce healthy, sound and mentally stabile dogs. I do not want to breed only referring to the males working and show qualifications, the female has to be able to show her strengths as well; through experience, working trials and shows.
At the moment I have two females living with me;
- SweCh KORAD LPI LPII Objektiv’s Aria (born 1998) called “Mojjan”, and her daughter - KORAD LPI El-Jo-Mi’s Incrediball Ira (born 2002).
Mojjan has had two litters with KORAD El-Jo-Mi’s All or Nothing called “Ito”. Ira is from the first litter, who showed such loving personalities and great health that I made the combination once more. This younger litter is also very satisfying. I’m looking forward to each time any of the offsprings are to enter some competition!
For those puppy-buyers who are willing to, I arrange the MH (Swedish mental evaluation) and MT (Swedish mental test, which will lead to the title KORAD if the dog passes). I prefer to gather the whole litter at the same time so that I can see them all under the same circumstances.
I also provide with El-Jo-Mi’s meetings – when there’s enough interest from my puppy-owners. We meet and share experiences, and train our dogs together.
Other dogs that’s been a part of my life are a Border Collie named Frej (1972-73), a Tervueren called NorwCh Xcellos (1975-79), a Groenendael named Femandos Witch 1980-82), a Tervueren called Bellefax Zatchmo-Lee (1982-90) and a Tervueren named Subtils Fifille (1987-).
